Emotional Trauma Survival
Under Construction
Beatings, emotional domination, rape, incest, childhood sexual abuse, spiritual abuse, and severe neglect are among the many traumas that can stunt our social and emotional development as children, shred our dignity and confidence as adults, and tear us away from the communities that might otherwise help us heal.
The Challenge:
There is Hope for Freedom and Joy:
If you have suffered severe emotional trauma, you should seek professional assistance from a licensed therapist, a psychologist, or a psychiatrist. But that is not all you should do. While there are risks and challenges, authentic relationships in in small, peer based groups of addicts and trauma victims who share similar emotional trauma can offer genuine hope for recovery and restoration. The more we tell our stories in a safe place, the less power our stories have over us.

This is not experimental; our lives have been changed. This website is dedicated to the brave souls who despite unimaginable emotional damage, are still alive. We are committed to providing support, guidance, resources, and training to these heroes wherever they may be.
Emotional Trauma Trap
Our reflexive instinct for survival keeps us alive but also creates feelings that are barriers to the authentic relationships we need to recover.
Mission:
To spread freedom and joy among victims of emotional trauma, addicts, and alcoholics like ourselves.
Goals:
1. Provide mutual support in volunteer, peer based small groups sharing similar emotional trauma.
2. Encourage recovery and restoration through authentic, healthy relationships.
3. Reconnect the marginalized with society.
Freedom and Joy
Telling our stories in a safe place reduces their power over us. We gain the freedom to make choices and the joy of acceptance and belonging.
